On the subject of Anderson Cooper

Okay everybody, Anderson Cooper is gay. He's really, totally gay. But I've admired Anderson Cooper for years and I remember having this discussion with my shrink years ago and replying dubiously, "but.. he's like a cool queer" when he implied he wasn't on the same 'team' as us and then realizing how fucking asinine that sounds. In a perfect world none of this actually matters just like it really shouldn't matter what the color of my skin is. Thus I can relate to Anderson tremendously in that respect.. I'm waiting for the day people won't incredulously reply "but you're so nice/normal/speak fluent coherent english/dress like Kennedy" after realizing I'm black.

And so, today I've probably read Valerie's Letter from V for Vendetta a dozen times today and done some deep reflection about what is important. And I've lived long enough to scratch many things off my list of what is important - because anything can be taken away from you at any moment, period. Nothing ever lasts forever. But what you can do in this life is touch people's souls, be men of courage, protect your essence, know that your education is never over, and maintain your integrity. These are the essentials of life; to quote Le Petit Prince: "Voici mon secret. Il est très simple: on ne voit bien qu'avec le cœur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." or roughly translated "The essential things in life are seen not with the eyes, but with the heart."

So Anderson, I'm very proud of you and always will be. It's the integrity I admire and the will to live the life that makes you proud regardless of what others have to say. Fuck what other people think. Know who you are and have the courage to be that person.

Anyway, clown on bitches.

Yours For Real,
TyPosh

PART 2 JULY 4TH AT 3:24 AM

I've been updating my facebook incessantly with bullshit tonight but ONE LAST THING:

It's 3:24 am and this is fucking with me big time. Two people I highly admire are fucking queers. They're gay.. totally, absolutely gay.. yet, being gay doesn't take away the fact Anderson Cooper is an amazing eloquent highly professional journalist and likewise being gay doesn't make Frank Ocean's music any less beautiful. Anderson Cooper I was aware was likely gay but Frank Ocean I was shocked. After finishing his letter on tumblr.. all I could think of was Valerie's Letter and I'm touched, DEEPLY. I happen to be much more sentimental then people give me credit for likely because I'm so wildly offensive most of the time.. but I can't help but to have such profound respect for both of them for coming out because I know what it's like to feel alone and that you maybe don't belong but saying fuck it anyway. You're both brave as hell. God Bless You. This is such an overwhelming subject wow.

P.S. if you are a gay bandit please don't come to my doorstep

FUCK YOU AMERICA fat slobs
